I'm Still Here

I haven't totally abandoned this blog... really. I'm just overwhelmingly busy right now AND I have real-live people to tell about it. I'm working full-time for another couple weeks as well as finishing my thesis - YES, I'm still doing this even though I "passed" my defense of it. My final, final deadline is Oct. 6th. Fingers crossed for success.

How 'bout I post some pictures for ol'-time-sake. These are my favorite pics from our trip to visit Arcata for a baby shower. My family and I were driving to the beach but had to pull over for cow-crossing. Hmmm. Gotta love rural Nor-Cal. When we got to the beach we hiked 5 miles from one town to the next through sand-duns and marshes. It was SO much fun. Lets do it again sometime family... when I'm not in my third-trimester (when I don't have to pee every 5 minutes in the bushes).

Oh, and we picked a few black berries that were growing around my parents house. Yummy!!
