The birds' livers "looked like they were chronic alcoholics."
This is a funny story I found on CBS News about drunk birds. It was good comic relief after reading about a new provision in the Patriot Act, which if passed again would allow for the imprisonment of protestors for up to a year for protesting at major national events. Hmm.. I wonder why CBS News didn't report that?
Oh well, who wants to think about that when you can laugh about drunk birds, right?
Since when is it becoming illegal to dissent? Isn't that what a Democracy is all about? The freedom to disagree? If we ignore them will they go away (our liberties)?
I think they just might.
