I have never been so excited about Spring as I am this year. I think for the first time in my life Winter has been too long, too dreary and TOO snowy!
We're planning our garden and almost ready to build and plant; it will be at least 3 times bigger than it was last year and in raised beds. We'll plant tomatoes, snap peas, lemon cucumbers, bush beans, zucchini, spinach, lettuce, green onions, peppers, pumpkins and broccolli, among other things like herbs -- basil, cilantro, etc... And, this year we'll plant a whole host of sunflowers along our fence (not just 3) to cheer things up and to give us a bit more privacy. With all those tall flowers blocking the yard maybe the kiddos can run naked through the pool. :) Kiddos. [sigh]
I'm so excited!
