It was the first warm day of the year, so the entire city of Portland came out of their white-sky-depression to celebrate.
The happy Portlanders were celebrating more than just blue sky. It was one of the elephant's birthday and there were rumors of free cake. I never saw any. I'm pretty sure it was a scam. How could you feed cake to 1/2 a million people anyway?
Baby was particularly taken with the underground view of aquatic life.
